Marc Kramer, teaching entrepreneurship, is a former faculty member at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Marc is a serial entrepreneur who has started over 28 companies and raised over $3.2 billion.
He is most known for starting the world’s first formally organized investor Angel network, The Pennsylvania Private Investors Group in 1990, where entrepreneurs could meet wealthy people to raise capital. This landed him on the cover of Profit Magazine, the Inc. Entrepreneur of the Year and a keynote speaking opportunity with the Wall Street Journal 1993. For the last 17 years, he has run the Angel Venture Fair, one of the world’s largest gatherings of Angel Investors and Entrepreneurs in the world located in Philadelphia, PA.
Marc has written six books and his book “Small Business Turnaround” won the Executive Book Summaries Top 30 Business Books. During the pandemic, he started a live weekly Zoomcast, The Best Business Minds, where he interviews business book authors from around the world. His podcast has won six international awards and has listeners in 75 countries. Marc has started a second podcast at VinUniversity called Asian Founders and Funders, which features Asian entrepreneurs, investors and major players in the entrepreneurial eco-system.
Marc has a master’s in Management from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Marketing from West Virginia University.
