Associate Professor Vũ Anh Dũng is the Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Before joining VinUniversity, Dr. Vũ Anh Dũng was the Founding Executive Vice President of the Vietnam-Japan University under Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Prior to that, he served as the Dean of the School of Business and International Economics and the Vice President of the University of Economics and Business.
Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, Dr. Vũ has extensive experience in various senior roles, including Senior Manager, Marketing Director, and Consultant at prominent corporations such as Heineken, Tiger, UTStarcom, Diageo, GSK, and Cadbury. He also co-founded BrotherIMC, an integrated communications agency.
Dr. Vũ is a pioneer in applying the CDIO initiative (from MIT) to curriculum development and implementation. Additionally, he successfully led the first undergraduate economics program in Vietnam to undergo international quality assurance evaluation by the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).
